By providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive Daily Brief messages, you agree to this Privacy Policy and to our Terms of Service.

Information we collect

• Contact information you give us, such as your name, email address, and mobile phone number, including anything you send through our contact form.
• Connected account data you authorize us to access to build your brief — for example, calendar events, task lists, and email — used only to write your summary.
• Message preferences such as your chosen send time, what you consider critical, and reminders you request.
• Message delivery data such as delivery status and STOP/HELP replies, used to operate the service and honor your requests.

How we use your information

• To generate and send your morning Daily Brief and any reminders you have asked for.
• To set up, personalize, support, and maintain the service.

Text messaging and your mobile information

When you opt in to Daily Brief, we use your mobile number only to send the messages you have agreed to receive and to respond to your requests.

You can cancel at any time by replying STOP, and you can reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for others' marketing purposes. We share information only in these limited cases:

• Service providers. We use trusted vendors to operate Daily Brief — for example, a messaging provider that delivers the texts and hosting or software tools that run the service. They may process information only to perform work for us and may not use it for their own purposes. As stated above, text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties.
• Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or Bright City Labs.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law. You may ask us to delete your data at any time, and we will delete it promptly except where we are required to retain it. To make a request, reply STOP to stop messages or contact us.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard the data entrusted to us and to limit access to it.

Children's privacy

Daily Brief is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and post the updated policy on this page.
