These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Daily Brief, a text-message service operated by Bright City Labs LLC ("Bright City Labs," "we," "us," or "our"). By enrolling in Daily Brief and agreeing to receive our messages, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

The service

Daily Brief reads the calendar, task, and email sources you connect and sends you a short summary each morning by text, along with any reminders you request. It is an early-stage service that we set up for each person individually.

How you opt in

Daily Brief is not a public signup-and-go product. You enroll by contacting us directly and providing your express written consent to receive recurring automated text messages at the mobile number you give us while we set up the service together.

Message frequency

Daily Brief is recurring. You will typically receive about one message per day, plus any additional reminders you request. Message frequency may vary.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan and carrier. Bright City Labs does not charge a per-message fee for the texts themselves.

Canceling and getting help

• Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further texts unless you re-enroll.
• Reply HELP for assistance, or reach us anytime through our contact form.

Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to your carrier's network and coverage.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information and use a mobile number you are authorized to enroll.
• Notify us if you change or give up your mobile number so we can stop messages to it.
• Use the service for your own personal use and in compliance with applicable law.

Privacy

Your use of Daily Brief is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Daily Brief is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. It is an aid, not a substitute for checking your own calendar, tasks, and email. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bright City Labs LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service, including any missed event, task, or message.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and post the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of Daily Brief after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
